Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team and drive new business by selling our tailored advisory services to tech companies eager to expand into the U.S. Government market. This role offers the opportunity to connect with innovative businesses at the forefront of AI, cybersecurity, and other emerging technologies, helping them unlock one of the largest and most lucrative markets in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Outreach: Proactively identify and target tech companies that could benefit from Marion Square’s government advisory services.
Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute a sales plan focused on acquiring new clients by presenting Marion Square's services as the solution to breaking into the U.S. Government market.
Consultative Selling: Engage with potential clients to understand their business goals and challenges, presenting a tailored approach that highlights our ability to create comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including opportunity identification, targeted messaging, and partner alignment.
Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-ups, nurturing relationships, and driving the sales process from prospecting to closing.
Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor, articulating the value of Marion Square’s services in helping companies navigate government sales, secure long-term contracts, and connect with key government partners.
Market Expertise: Stay informed about federal government initiatives, spending trends, and emerging opportunities in AI, cybersecurity, and tech that could benefit clients.
Partnership Development: Identify and develop relationships with industry contacts, including government primes, system integrators, and other key stakeholders to support client success.
Qualifications:
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Marketing or related field
Experience: 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in selling professional services, technology, or government-related solutions.
Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and build strong client relationships in a remote or hybrid work environment.
Networking Ability: Comfortable engaging with C-level executives and decision-makers in the tech space, and developing partnerships within the government contracting ecosystem.
